Dear Optimists,
The longer I work on this blog, the more I wish I could speak/write Danish. Since a large percentage of our readers are from Denmark, it just seems like something I wish I could do!
That, and sometimes I worry that my Danish friends on Facebook are saying stuff about me right in front of me and I don’t even know it. Especially since my name is actually a Danish word…
Love,
Den
P.S. Why do I have a weird feeling that our Danish readers might respond in Danish just to make me more paranoid? 😉
Haha I love the outfit!
They will only say nice things about you Danish, don’t worry 🙂
Haha you don’t know that! I’m sure they will…but it will still make me wonder 😉
Haha, bare rolig Den.. Vi elsker dig alligevel 😉
Oh, and a tip for you!? http://translate.google.dk/?hl=da&tab=wT 😉
Oh nooooo! And I know about that Google translate…I just wasn’t going to admit it! 😉
Aww I just Google translated that! So sweet! 🙂
Damn! When I read this post, I thought “I’m going to write my comment on danish”, but you read my mind.
Nadia should give you a quick course.
But anywho, Vi kan lide Den, lige nøjagtig som han er.
Oh no you didn’t!
Vi kan alle sammen virkelig godt lide dig, Den!
Haha I love it. You are all the best!
You are all the best! Well, you and Google Translate 🙂
Caaaaaan’t help it .. (forgive me) Rødgrød med fløde !!! 😀
Google it and you’ll learn 😀
I’m curious, you’re an american citizen but living in Denmark? Can you tell me how you got permission to stay in denmark? Work related? Did you meet Nadja first and then decided to move with her to Denmark?
I’m in a situation where I’m studying in USA, and found an american boyfriend and I’m going to return to Denmark this summer. So it would actually be great to get some good tips in that situation. 🙂
Thanks, and Den – People love you. No worries. 😉
Hey Sofie,
I just met my new Norwegian neighbours last night. They are awesome, and now I wanna leanr Norwegian! So I know what you mean, Den.
I clearly meant learn….maybe I need to fix my English before I tackle Norwegian! 😛
Haha, this made me laugh so hard! 😀
aww.. 😀 I would like to learn Danish as well! haha! 🙂 learning foreign languages makes me excited… especially with the thought of actually learning it in the country where it is spoken.. isn’t that wonderful? haha! 🙂
